FRAMONI STUD

Framoni comes from the contraction of 3 first names: FRA for Frank Wettstein, MO for Monique Deyme and NI for Nicolas Wettstein.

Monique Deyme : " My mother. She is my coach and my trainer in Jumping and Cross-Country as well as being my sponsor! She rode at international level in Eventing in the 80s and recently released a book: “ Eventing: User’s guide” (2010). She is the breeder of all FRAMONI horses".

Frank Wettstein : "My father, my adviser, my sponsor. He competed internationally in Eventing until 2007."

Framoni stud did not always happen in the same facilities; therefore, Framoni does not refer to any specific place. Until 2001, foals were born in St Martin en Bresse (FRA), then in Passy (Near Cluny in Burgundy, France). In 2012, after the Burgundy domain got sold, Framoni Stud moved to Collonges, near Gex (FRA) at the border of Geneva.
Framoni Stud is active in 2 distinct activities: Breeding and Sport.
